BuildMaterialCalc

Terms of Service

Last updated: May 2026. By using BuildMaterialCalc ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please stop using the site.

1. Service description

BuildMaterialCalc provides free online calculators for construction and DIY material estimation. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

2. Accuracy of calculations

All calculations are estimates only. Real-world projects depend on factors we cannot account for: sub-grade conditions, surface texture, local building codes, specific manufacturer spec sheets, and applicator skill. Always confirm with a licensed professional before purchasing materials, signing contracts, or beginning any structural or safety-critical work.

3. No warranty

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

4. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BuildMaterialCalc and its contributors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of (or inability to use) the Service. This includes but is not limited to: ordering too much or too little material, project cost overruns, structural failures, and any third-party claims.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use automated tools (scrapers, bots) to overload the Service
  • Scrape or republish our calculator results or content at scale without permission
  • Use the Service for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose
  • Attempt to bypass advertising, consent, or rate-limit mechanisms

6. Intellectual property

The site\'s code, layout, graphics, and editorial content (calculator methodology pages, FAQ answers, reference tables) are the property of the operator. You may use the calculators for any personal or professional project; you may not republish the editorial content verbatim without permission.

7. Third-party services

The site uses Google AdSense, Google Funding Choices (CMP), and optionally Google Analytics. Your use of those services is governed by Google\'s respective terms.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the operator\'s country of residence, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
